Workshop and repairs
In Imperia we fit lenses in-house and repair prescription glasses and sunglasses, even if you didn’t buy them from us.
A screw that works loose the day before you leave, an arm bent after ending up under a cushion, glasses that slide down your nose. Little mishaps that spoil the day, and that can often be fixed quickly.
Our in-house workshop is where your glasses take shape. Here we edge, centre and fit the lenses, and here we repair anyone’s glasses, whether bought from us or elsewhere.

What we do in the workshop
In our in-house workshop your glasses take shape, from the uncut lens to the finished pair.
- Computerised edging and centringLenses fitted to your measurements, including progressives, which require particular skills.
- Hand finishingEvery lens is carefully finished and polished.
- Quick repairs, when possibleScrews, nose pads, arms and minor damage to prescription glasses and sunglasses.
- AdjustmentWe bring your glasses back into line, so the lenses stay aligned and the frame stable.
- Ultrasonic cleaningTo remove dirt even where a cloth can’t reach.
Repairs
Glasses repairs, even if not bought from us
In Poliottica’s workshop in Imperia we repair prescription glasses and sunglasses of any brand, even if you bought them elsewhere. Bring them to the shop during opening hours. We’ll look at them with you and tell you what can be done.
If the glasses are from us, with the Service Card minor repairs are free, where possible.
Maintenance
A regular service for your glasses
Glasses get tired too. With use, screws loosen, the frame widens, the lenses move out of alignment.
That’s why we recommend having your glasses checked at least every 6 months. An adjustment, a clean, and they’re as comfortable as on day one.
