Audagna and Barletta, since 1972
Two families of opticians and a shop in the heart of Oneglia.
Poliottica was founded in Imperia in 1972, when two families of opticians came together. Its founders were Marcello Audagna and Omero Barletta, and both family names are still part of our signature.
Today the partners are Marco Audagna and Matteo Barletta, sons of the founders. Working with them are the technicians of our workshop, Antonello Tassi and Samuele La Cava.

Our story
Over fifty years in Imperia
- 1960
Marcello Audagna starts working as an optician.
- 1972
Marcello Audagna and Omero Barletta open Poliottica in Imperia.
- 1993
Marco Audagna, Marcello’s son, begins his work as an optician.
- 2024
Occhiali Imperia is born, our collection named after the streets and districts of the town.
- Today
The second generation runs the shop, with the in-house workshop and the Acqua di Imperia fragrances.

Optician since 1960, in 1972 he founded Poliottica together with Omero Barletta.
Matteo BarlettaPartner
Optician with over 30 years’ experience, son of Omero Barletta. He carries on his family’s tradition in the shop.
Marco AudagnaPartner
Optician since 1993, Marcello’s son. He combines family experience with today’s instruments and lenses.
Antonello TassiTechnician
Attentive to every detail, so that every pair of glasses leaves the shop precise and made to measure.
Samuele La CavaWorkshop technician
In our in-house workshop he edges, centres and fits lenses and repairs glasses.
